Privacy Policy
Draft — effective date to be set on publication.
Clarielle Global LLC, trading as Clarielle Global, operates clarielleglobal.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when placing an order, contacting us, or requesting a return. This may include your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order information, messages, and photographs submitted to support a product claim.
Our website and service providers also process technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP addresses, browser information, and activity logs.
When enabled, website analytics processes visit and session identifiers, pages viewed, referral and campaign information, device and browser information, interactions, and shopping events such as adding an item to a cart, starting checkout, and completing a purchase. Technical diagnostics may include page performance and errors.
The current website contact and newsletter forms do not transmit submissions. To contact us or make a privacy request, email hello@clarielleglobal.com. Entering an email address in the current newsletter form does not subscribe you.
How we use information
We use information to process orders and payments, arrange delivery, respond to inquiries, handle returns and refunds, prevent fraud, maintain the website, and meet legal obligations. Website analytics helps us understand store usage and improve the shopping experience.
No newsletter service is currently connected to the website. If newsletter subscriptions are enabled in the future and you subscribe, we will use your email to send news and promotional messages and provide an unsubscribe link in those messages. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary order or service communications. This policy will be updated to identify the service before it is enabled.
Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information needed by providers that help operate our business, including Stripe for payments, shipping providers for fulfillment, and our website-hosting and communication providers.
- Amboras provides our ecommerce platform, order and account services, and built-in website analytics.
- Vercel hosts and delivers the published storefront and processes technical request information needed to serve and secure it.
- Resend provides the platform’s transactional email delivery, processing recipient details and message content for order and service emails when sent. This is separate from the provider that hosts our support email inbox.
- Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
- Shipping providers receive the information needed to deliver an order when we arrange fulfillment.
No separate newsletter or advertising integration is currently installed on the website. Built-in analytics uses Amboras’s collection service; the presence of analytics software does not mean a separate hosted PostHog service receives shopper data.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect lawful rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction, subject to applicable protections.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and browser storage for its operation and security, including shopping-cart continuity, account access, preferences, and analytics settings. Amboras analytics uses session and visitor identifiers and browser storage to measure website activity.
Under the current location-based settings, analytics waits for acceptance for visitors identified as being in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and when location is unknown. For other identified locations, including the United States, analytics may be enabled automatically unless you have already declined.
You can use Manage Cookies in the footer to reopen the controls and choose Decline to stop optional browser analytics. The preference cookie is set for up to one year unless cleared or replaced. Browser controls also allow you to manage cookies and local storage; blocking essential storage may affect shopping or account functions. Necessary request processing and security logs are separate from optional browser analytics.
See our Cookie Policy for further details.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Available rights depend on your location. We may verify your identity and retain information where required or permitted by law. Send requests to hello@clarielleglobal.com or the mailing address below.
